Window pricing is based on white vinyl framed replacement windows, consisting of double pane Low-e glass with Argon gas filled spacer between the window panes. Replacement windows being used are from the Simonton 5050 Reflections Series but other options are available. For more information on Simonton windows, please visit www.simonton.com.
How to measure for new windows:
- Measure the width of the window opening. Measure the opening from the inside of the home, drywall to drywall. Make sure the tape measure is as close to the existing window as possible to get the most accurate measurements. Take 3 measurements: bottom, middle and top. Use the smallest of the 3 measurements.
- Next, measure the height of the window opening. Use the same technique as described in step 1. Take 3 measurements: left, middle and right. Use the smallest of the 3 measurements.
For quote purposes only, round the measurements up to the next inch. For example, a window opening measuring 73 1/4" wide by 49 1/4" high would be entered as 74" wide and 50" high.
Homeowner measurements are used for quote purposes only. If interested in window replacement, an Energy Efficiency Inc. representative will verify all measurements and provide an actual final price at the time of order.
